Astercamp O\u00dc Motorhome rental terms<\/strong>

These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of motorhomes (\u201cVehicle\u201d) from Astercamp O\u00dc (\u201cwe\u201d, \u201cour\u201d, \u201cus\u201d). By submitting a booking, you (\u201cRenter\u201d, \u201cyou\u201d) agree to the following terms.<\/p>\n

1. Booking, Payment & Security Deposit<\/strong>
\n1.1 Booking Deposit
\n\u2022 To reserve a motorhome, a booking deposit must be paid.
\n\u2022 The reservation becomes valid only after the deposit is successfully received.
\n\u2022 The deposit amount is deducted from the total rental price.<\/p>\n

1.2 Payment of Remaining Balance
\n\u2022 The remaining rental balance is paid upon receiving the motorhome at pick-up, before the handover.
\n\u2022 Accepted payment methods will be listed in the booking confirmation.<\/p>\n

1.3 Security Deposit (Refundable)
\n\u2022 A refundable security deposit of 600\u20ac is required at pick-up.
\n\u2022 The security deposit covers possible damages, cleaning fees, missing items, unreturned fuel, tolls, or fines.
\n\u2022 The amount is stated during the booking process.<\/p>\n

2. Pick-Up Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.1 Identification
\nAt pick-up you must present:
\n\u2022 A valid driving licence
\n\u2022 Passport or national ID card
\n\u2022 Booking confirmation<\/p>\n

2.2 Vehicle Handover Inspection
\n\u2022 Both parties conduct a joint inspection and document the vehicle\u2019s condition, mileage, fuel level, and equipment.
\n\u2022 You receive instructions for operating the motorhome and its systems.<\/p>\n

3. Returning the Motorhome<\/strong><\/p>\n

3.1 Time & Location
\n\u2022 The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location and at the agreed time.
\n\u2022 Late returns may incur additional daily or hourly fees.<\/p>\n

3.2 Required Condition<\/p>\n

You must return the vehicle:
\n\u2022 Clean and tidy inside
\n\u2022 With dishes washed and rubbish removed
\n\u2022 With wastewater and toilet cassette emptied (unless otherwise agreed)
\n\u2022 With a full fuel tank (unless otherwise agreed)
\n\u2022 With all equipment provided at pick-up<\/p>\n

3.3 Return Inspection
\n\u2022 A final inspection is completed upon return.
\n\u2022 Any damage, missing items, or cleaning needs will be recorded and may result in deductions from the security deposit.<\/p>\n

4. Security Deposit Refund Process<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.1 Refund Method
\n\u2022 The security deposit will be refunded to the same bank account or card used at pick-up unless otherwise agreed.<\/p>\n

4.2 Timeline
\n\u2022 If no issues are found, refunds are issued within 7\u201314 business days.
\n\u2022 If there is damage or additional charges, the processing time may be longer to determine accurate costs.<\/p>\n

4.3 Possible Deductions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deductions may apply for:
\n\u2022 New damage or missing equipment
\n\u2022 Unemptied toilet or wastewater tank (unless otherwise agreed)
\n\u2022 Excessive cleaning or odor removal
\n\u2022 Missing fuel
\n\u2022 Late return
\n\u2022 Traffic or parking fines, toll violations, or insurance excess
\n\u2022 Repair or towing costs resulting from misuse or prohibited actions<\/p>\n

You will receive a detailed breakdown of any deductions.<\/p>\n

5. Insurance Coverage<\/strong><\/p>\n

5.1 Standard Insurance
\n\u2022 Each rental includes mandatory motor insurance as required by Estonian law.
\n\u2022 The renter is responsible for the insurance excess stated in the rental agreement.<\/p>\n

5.2 What Insurance Does NOT Cover<\/p>\n

Insurance may not cover:
\n\u2022 Damage due to off-road driving
\n\u2022 Interior damage caused by negligence
\n\u2022 Damage from driving under the influence
\n\u2022 Damage resulting from unauthorized drivers
\n\u2022 Roof damage (tree branches, low clearances)
\n\u2022 Tire, wheel, and undercarriage damage caused by improper driving<\/p>\n

The renter is financially responsible for damages not covered by insurance.<\/p>\n

6. Mileage & Fuel Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

6.1 Mileage
\n\u2022 Daily or total mileage limits, if applicable, will be stated in your booking confirmation.
\n\u2022 Additional mileage may be charged at a fixed rate.<\/p>\n

6.2 Fuel
\n\u2022 The vehicle must be returned with a full fuel tank.
\n\u2022 Missing fuel will be billed at the market rate plus a refuelling service fee.<\/p>\n

7. Vehicle Use Rules (What You Must NOT Do)<\/strong><\/p>\n

To ensure safety and protect the motorhome, you agree NOT to:<\/p>\n

7.1 Prohibited Actions
\n\u2022 Smoke or vape inside the vehicle
\n\u2022 Bring pets without prior written approval
\n\u2022 Drive off-road, on unpaved trails, beaches, or restricted areas
\n\u2022 Tow trailers or other vehicles unless explicitly approved
\n\u2022 Exceed passenger limits or maximum weight
\n\u2022 Allow unregistered drivers to drive
\n\u2022 Modify or remove installed equipment
\n\u2022 Use the motorhome for commercial purposes or illegal activities
\n\u2022 Stand or walk on the roof
\n\u2022 Drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication<\/p>\n

7.2 Consequences<\/p>\n

Violations may result in:
\n\u2022 Immediate termination of rental
\n\u2022 Full loss of the security deposit
\n\u2022 Additional damage or cleaning charges
\n\u2022 Liability for any resulting repairs or fines<\/p>\n

8. Accidents, Breakdowns & Repairs<\/strong><\/p>\n

8.1 Accident Procedures<\/p>\n

In case of an accident:
\n\u2022 Contact emergency services if needed
\n\u2022 Notify Astercamp O\u00dc immediately
\n\u2022 Complete an accident report form
\n\u2022 Record details and take photos if safe to do so<\/p>\n

8.2 Breakdowns
\n\u2022 For mechanical breakdowns not caused by misuse, roadside assistance is included.
\n\u2022 Do not attempt to repair the vehicle yourself unless instructed.<\/p>\n

8.3 Unauthorized Repairs<\/p>\n

Unauthorized repairs or modifications are prohibited and may result in additional charges.<\/p>\n

9. Cleaning Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

You must return the motorhome in a reasonable and tidy condition, including:
\n\u2022 Floors swept
\n\u2022 Surfaces wiped
\n\u2022 Waste removed
\n\u2022 Dishes cleaned
\n\u2022 Toilet cassette and wastewater tank emptied<\/p>\n

If the vehicle is excessively dirty or tanks are not emptied, cleaning fees apply.<\/p>\n

10. Cancellations & Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n

10.1 Cancellations
\n\u2022 The cancellation policy, including applicable fees, is provided at booking.
\n\u2022 The booking deposit may be non-refundable depending on the timing of cancellation.<\/p>\n

10.2 Modifications
\n\u2022 Date or duration changes are subject to availability and may affect pricing.
\n\u2022 No modification is confirmed until you receive written approval from Astercamp O\u00dc.<\/p>\n

11. Liability of the Renter<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are responsible for:
\n\u2022 The motorhome and all included equipment during the rental period
\n\u2022 Ensuring the vehicle is locked and secured when unattended
\n\u2022 All traffic, parking, and toll violations incurred during the rental
\n\u2022 Damage resulting from misuse or negligence<\/p>\n

12. Governing Law<\/strong><\/p>\n

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Estonia.
